FAQ

Lawn service will continue every year unless you choose to cancel. If you want to give us a call to let us know when you want us to start that is great; otherwise we will start once things start growing—typically in March or April.

To discontinue any lawn service including Mowing or Fertilization, please send us an email or leave us a voice message. At that time we will send out any unpaid invoices or credits.

Safety is extremely important to us. Even though we use environmentally friendly products, it is always best to be extra careful after a Fertilization application. Until the grass is completely dry to the touch, we will kindly ask that you keep children and pets off the turf surface.  Lawns will take about an hour to dry.

Rain is the best thing that can happen to your lawn after an application of
Fertilization and Insect Control. However, a hard rain, one or two hours after an application, may
affect broadleaf weed control. If this occurs, wait two weeks and check the weed control.
If results are unsatisfactory after two weeks, contact our office for an inspection and proper action.

During dry periods, a lawn may require as much as 1 ½ inches of water
per week. Best results are attained when the soil is damp to a depth of 4 to 6 inches after watering. Watering in the morning thoroughly three times a week is considered the
best program. If natural rainfall doesn’t occur within two days after a Fertilization application, a
light watering is recommended.

We ask that any dog droppings and toys be picked up prior to your service.

Yes we are insured.

Generally we will service a residential property approximately 30 times throughout the growing season.  Mowing will typically start in March or April and continue into November or sometimes December.  Taking into consideration hot summer months in July and August where service may be on a bi-weekly basis.

At the beginning of the season we will notify our maintenance customers of our standard terms and conditions for mowing throughout the season. Within this literature will highly recommend maintaining a weekly service plan up until the summer months which at that point may only require bi-weekly service. If at the start of the season you would like to request bi-weekly service from the get go, we can surely accommodate this however rates per visit will be slightly higher.

In the spring (early March – early May) and fall (late August – early November) are the best times of the year to have this service executed.  These times of the year bring cooler weather and will allow the newly spread grass seed to begin germination much easier than it would be in the warmer summer months.

Pruning and mulching services in the months of Feb – June, however a large handful of our customers will also have these services done again in the Fall as well.  Mulching your gardens is very important, not only for aesthetics, but for the health and protection of your flowers, shrubs and trees.  Spreading mulch will keep the soil cool and help retain moisture with is great for your plants.  Mulching will also help minimize weed germination.  Call today so that we can schedule an a free onsite appointment and provide you with a quote.

Our leaf cleanups are billed by the man hour. Most homes usually take two guys two hours. Typically an average home with average amounts of leaves are usually under $200.
